Five Education are working with a lovely Special School in Oxfordshire who are currently looking for an experienced English Teacher (preferably with an SEN background or a desire to work in SEN) to join their team in September 2024 (can accommodate an ASAP start if preferred) - the school invites applications from enthusiastic individuals to work with a dedicated and caring team.
Role: SEN English Teacher
Location: Oxfordshire
Contract: Permanent - Full time
Salary: £30,000 - £47,000 + Benefits (DOE)
Start: September 2024 (or ASAP)
The Job Role:
- SEN background strongly desired
- English teaching experience in either Mainstream or SEN
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Essential
- Ability to be flexible and deliver a differentiated curriculum
- Understanding of how to manage challenging behaviour
- Knowledge/experience of SEMH and ASD
