About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a qualified Drama Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Rotherham starting in September. This role is a fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire students within a dynamic drama department.
Job Summary:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Evaluate and assess students' progress through various assessment tools.
- Maintain a creative classroom environment that promotes learning and artistic expression.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student dramatic experiences.
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate interdisciplinary approaches in teaching drama.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent conferences, and school training events.
Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Drama at secondary level.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
