Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team, covering all areas in Key Stage 3 and 4 in a Secondary School in Bexhill. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students in the study of English literature and language, fostering a love for the subject and supporting them in achieving their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching strategies.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, fostering positive relationships and maintaining open lines of communication.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching English at the secondary school level, preferably within the UK education system.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
