Job Duties:- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Degree in a relevant science subject
- Experience teaching science at secondary level
- Experience working with young people
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards teaching
- Passion for working with young people and helping them succeed
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 science curriculum
- Additional training in special education needs (SEN) or behaviour management
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities
- Collaboration with other teachers and school staff
