We are working with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Wiltshire, that is seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Year 2 teacher for September 2024. The children are hardworking, caring, inquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment. Hence, we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities of a Year 2 teacher:
· Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 2 students based on the National Curriculum.
· Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 2 students to encourage growth and development.
· Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
· Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
· Use data to inform teaching decisions and adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
· Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Year 2 student progress.
· Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Suitable Applicants Must Have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
· Proven experience teaching Year 2 in a primary school setting.
· A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to tailor instruction to meet its requirements.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Dedication to providing high-quality education to children.
· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments and schools.
· Strong organizational and planning abilities.
