Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Tutors to provide English and Maths support to a students in the Rainham area to support students currently not accessing mainstream school.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for SEN tutors to support SEN students, providing specialist core subject support in English and Maths as well as offering life skills and SEN support too. Tuition will need to take place in hours during the school day and timetable will need to be formed to ensure the young person is accessing a structured day.

This opportunity is perfect for an experienced teacher, SEN TA, LSA or SEN Tutor who is looking to step away from the classroom and make a difference to the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. If you are only able to provide one of the core subjects, please get in touch.

Duration ongoing
Hours Monday Friday - 10 hours a week

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years SEN experience
QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching the above subjects
Possess UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role, the SEN Tutor must:

Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references.
