Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Pay: £83.85 per day
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30-3:30
Start: As soon as vetting has complete
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join a team as a Trainee Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in education and gain valuable experience working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with all aspects of classroom management and teaching
- Support individual students with their learning and development
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Assist with planning and delivering lessons, as well as preparing teaching materials
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- An enhanced child workforce DBS registered on the update service
- Register on the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Provide 24 months of references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
