The Primary School is looking to take on a professional Teaching Assistant / TA who is experienced and ready to work closely with the existing team in supporting young children with their learning. The successful applicant will be working across the Foundation phase on a temporary basis, leading to a potential permanent position for the right Teaching Assistant / TA. You will be responsible for helping the class teacher with the preparation of lessons, working with pupils to make sure they are engaged and understand their work as well as recording their progress.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification OR at least 6 months experience within an educational establishment
• Understanding for building good relationships with children
• Ability to remain calm under challenging situations
• Excellent classroom management
