Position: Supply Primary Teaching Assistant - FULL / PART TIME OPTIONS
Location: Filton
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Are you passionate about education and supporting young learners? We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team in Filton. As a teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Classroom Teachers: Collaborate with teachers to support students during lessons, ensuring their understanding and engagement.
- Individualized Support: Work with students on a one-on-one basis or in small groups, providing targeted assistance based on their needs.
- Behaviour Management: Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, helping maintain discipline and encouraging positive behaviour.
- Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources.
- Supervision: Monitor students during break times and other non-classroom activities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential. However, prior experience working with children is required.
- Qualifications: A relevant teaching assistant qualification is advantageous.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexibly across different year groups and subjects.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, staff, and parents.
- Enthusiasm: A passion for education and a commitment to student well-being.
