HR Officer (Maternity Cover)
Location: South Birmingham
Salary: Competitive

Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months, term time only plus 2 weeks

Twenty4Seven Education are working with a high-performing secondary school in south Birmingham with the recruitment of a HR Officer for a fixed-term maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning, supportive, and driven admin team.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will lead on the day-to-day HR service provision, working collaboratively with the HR Manager, HR Assistant, the academy’s People Business Partner, and Centralised People support service. The role requires a proactive and organized individual with experience in HR and using HR databases. Experience in a similar role within a school environment is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support to the school
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and databases
  • Assist with employee relations matters
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience working in HR and using HR databases
  • Desirable: experience in a similar role within a school environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
