SEN Teaching Assistant

We're excited to collaborate with an outstanding all-through Special Educational Needs (SEN) School located near Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. We're seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants who are eager to make a difference by supporting students with Autism.

This exceptional school caters to both Primary and Secondary aged learners and is highly regarded for its dedication to providing personalised support for individuals with Autism in the Welwyn Garden City area.

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Contract: Temp to Perm

Salary: £375 - £425 per week

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing invaluable support to learners aged 5-19 within an SEN School environment.
• Demonstrating passion for assisting young people with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities.
• Fostering an environment contributing to the growth and development of students with Autism.
• Collaborating closely with peers, parents, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
• Long-term commitment to the vibrant educational community near Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

We're Looking for Candidates who:

• Are deeply committed to achieving positive outcomes for the young people they work with.
•  Have a genuine eagerness to contribute to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education.
• Exhibit a sincere passion for supporting young individuals with SEND.
• Have approachable demeanour and the necessary skills to engage effectively with learners in an SEN setting.
• No experience necessary, must be reliable and able to commute to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
