Early Years Lecturer / Tutor

Face to Face teaching required for up to 70% of the role.

The role is currently part time but has the opportunity to become full time.

We are seeking an Early Years Lecturer/ Tutor to lead a curriculum and cultivate the desired skills and knowledge for a group of highly motivated students in our Early Years Academy. Candidate must have experience of developing and delivering engaging teaching methods that meet the diverse needs of our students.  Candidates should demonstrate from their career how they have impacted their field in education and understand how pivotal their role is in shaping young minds and the future of Early Years. 

You will work alongside the student Mentor to ensure the students have a broad and rounded introduction to their careers and develop the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to foster the necessary resilience and character  from their practical learning experiences for suitability into industry.

Candidates must have as a Early Years Lecturer/ Tutor:

• A degree in Early Years Education, Child Development, or a related field is typically required. 
• A strong foundation in the principles of early childhood learning and pedagogy.
• Practical experience  or working with young children, preferably within a further education environment, is crucial. This experience could come from placements during your training, previous teaching roles, or other relevant educational settings.
• A degree, a teaching qualification specific to early years or further education, such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), is highly desirable. 
• Successful candidates will be subject to DBS checks and must satisfy safeguarding requirements.
