Who we need

We are looking for a lecturer for specific delivery to 14 to 16 year old students within our Foundation Learning department and who has experience of teaching, learning and assessment with this cohort of students, ideally but not essential, within a further educational setting. You will have knowledge and understanding of working with 14 to 16 year olds and be able to evidence your achievements with this cohort. You will be dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative to join our outstanding faculty area. The successful applicant will be able to deliver accredited qualifications at Entry 3 and Level 1, inc. Maths & English. You will be professional, responsible and confident lecturer who has the skills to inspire both students and colleagues alike, and the ability to innovatively create and deliver and achieve for our young people.

The post holds the potential for the right candidate to continue further opportunities beyond the fixed term period.

What you’ll bring

With previous experience of teaching, you’ll have a practical, but creative approach that generates outstanding lessons that fully engage and inspire students, with ability to create innovative methods of learning that will support students' and prepare them for progression to higher level learning and training.

For this role we are looking for people who:

· Have experience of delivery to 14 to 16 year olds and passionate about teaching in FE sector.

· Able to create and deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.

· Are committed to ensuring all our students make the best progress possible.

· Are able to work in a demanding and changing environment
