Salary: £83.33 - £85 per day

We at GSL Education Kent are excited to be recruiting a friendly and compassionate individual to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant at a progressive school located in Thanet. The selected candidate will be working as part of an energetic team to encourage learning and development of young students with additional needs. Prior experience in aiding SEN children is desirable but not essential.


As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:

• Cater for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties
• Encourage all students to learn and motivate them to reach their maximum potential
• Support teachers in managing class behavior
• Challenge and support the progress of pupils

In order to be considered for the role, the candidate must:

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks
• Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
• Be committed to safeguarding
• Be adaptable, enthusiastic and enjoy working with young people of all backgrounds
