Job Title: Head Teacher

Location: Exeter

Job Description: The Supply Register are a managed service working alongside 4 large multi academy trusts within Devon & Cornwall. We are currently seeking experienced and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to join our team on a temporary basis to cover short-term absences and maintain continuity of education for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to staff, students, and parents, inspiring excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance academic performance, student well-being, and overall school effectiveness.
• Lead curriculum development initiatives that align with educational standards, promote innovation, and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Oversee the recruitment, development, and evaluation of staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and commitment to student success.
• Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, governors, and the wider community.
• Manage the school's budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to support educational goals and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Teacher or in a senior leadership role within a school setting.
• A deep understanding of educational principles, pedagogy, and best practices.
• Strong leadership qualities, including vision, integrity, resilience, and effective communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and empower others to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A track record of driving academic improvement and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or educational leadership.
