Secondary School Cover Supervisor (KS3) – Thanet

Your Role:

• Supervise and manage Key Stage 3 classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, fostering engagement and participation among students.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures. Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to provide feedback on student progress and any issues arising during cover sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience working with Key Stage 3 students is desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and behaviour management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with different classes and subjects.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Relevant qualifications or training in education would be advantageous
• Right to work in UK
