Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Canterbury, Kent

Contract: Full time, Long term

Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant (KS2) – Canterbury

Your Role:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to children with SEN, both in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions.
• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of SEN students.
• Implementing strategies to support students with a range of needs, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
• Monitoring and recording the progress of SEN students, and communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably within a primary school setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and behaviour management skills.
• An Enhance Child and Adult DBS (or willing to obtain one)
