Are you a passionate and dedicated Art teacher with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

If so, we invite you to join an inclusive and supportive team at an SEN secondary school located in Birkenhead. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to empower and inspire students in their educational journey.

This school is a vibrant and inclusive SEN secondary school that provides a safe and nurturing learning environment for students with a range of special educational needs. Their dedicated staff and supportive community work together to ensure that every student reaches their full potential.

As an Art Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Art lessons tailored to the specific needs of SEN students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Develop individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and specialists to ensure the holistic development of students.

As an Art Teacher, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Specialised knowledge and experience in teaching Art.
  • Understanding of SEN and experience working with students with a variety of special educational needs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
