As a Maths Cover Supervisor within our schools, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in students' learning when their regular teacher is absent. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absence, ensuring that students stay on task and engaged in their mathematics studies.

We are seeking candidates who have a strong background in mathematics and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. While previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not essential. We welcome individuals who are confident in managing classroom behavior and can adapt quickly to different teaching environments.

As a Maths Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and managing classrooms in the absence of the regular maths teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and activities to students, maintaining continuity in their learning.
• Providing support and assistance to students as needed, answering questions and clarifying concepts.
• Managing student behavior and addressing any disciplinary issues that may arise, following school policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication about students' progress and behavior.

The successful candidate will be passionate about mathematics and education, with a desire to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students are essential for success in this role.
