Position: Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: South Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract: Fixed-term for one academic year

Responsibilities:

• Providing support within the Year 2 classroom setting
• Conducting intervention classes for Phonics to assist students who are tracking behind their targets
• Utilising the Read Write Inc phonics program
• Collaborating with teachers to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Assisting with classroom management and organisation

Requirements:

• Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting
• Familiarity with the Read Write Inc phonics program
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above (desired)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student development
