Year 1 Class Teacher – Gorton, Manchester

Educate GM’s partner school in Gorton, Manchester are searching for a Year 1 Class Teacher to join their nurturing and diverse school.

The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence from September 2024.

You will be joining a successful and highly regarded school within inner city Manchester where children flourish. The school has supportive staff members who are passionate about high standards and working as part of a team. The school's Principal is keen to promote staff development and this ethos is spread throughout the staff culture.

You will need great knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum and a proven ability to help pupils succeed both academically and personally. ECT’s are encouraged to apply to this role.

To be successful in this role you will:

• QTS status - both experienced teachers and ECT's welcome to appl
• Experience in teaching in EYSF and/or KS1
• Exceptional knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Great behaviour management
• A genuine passion to support each child to reach their true potential
• All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
