Experience of working in a UK nursery essential. Level 2/3 qualification not essential but preferred.

TeacherActive Manchester are looking for Nursery Practitioners for work in Nurseries across Greater Manchester. We are looking for positive, resilient individuals who can use their initiative. Pay starts at £12.83 per hour, up to £13.50. The work mainly involves supporting children in their play, so you need to be energetic, caring and imaginative. You will sometimes be working 1:1 with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities on their Individual Education Plans. You will need to be confident in managing behaviour using positive reinforcement. You may be required to lead small groups in English and Maths with some guidance from the teacher. 

To be successful in your application, you will need experience of working in UK nurseries. Oversees candidates are recommended to do a few days of volunteering at a local school in Manchester before applying to work with us.
