Reception Class Teacher - Openshaw, Manchester

Educate GM are seeking an experienced Reception Class Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Openshaw, Manchester. You will have the opportunity to gain teaching experience in a diverse and positive working environment whilst facilitating children to flourish in an inner city Manchester School. They are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher with great energy for this exciting position for the duration of the academic year.

This is a two form entry school where you will be supported by an experienced teaching assistant. This full-time Reception Teacher role begins in September 2024 and you will be required to complete the full academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position becoming available the following year. This fantastic opportunity will pay between £160-£210 depending on experience (paying to M Scale after 12 working weeks).

Essential Criteria:

• QTS status - both experienced teachers and ECT's welcome to apply
• Experience in EYFS or Year 1
• Teaching experience in the United Kingdom or delivering British curriculum is advantageous.
• Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom 
• Great behaviour management
• Able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
• Creative in their approach to children’s learning
• Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of the school

• This advert is for a temporary position for the full academic year. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available later.
