We have an exciting opportunity for qualified Assessors to join an award-winning organisation. Our client operates nationwide, providing learners with a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors necessary to excel in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a caseload of up to 50 learners, guiding them towards successful completion of their apprenticeships through monthly teaching sessions using a blended remote delivery approach.
• Assist learners in compiling evidence for their apprenticeship portfolios, ensuring it aligns with the required knowledge, skills, and behaviors for End-Point Assessment (EPA).
• Identify and provide support to learners with additional learning needs, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.
• Track and oversee learner progress throughout their apprenticeship journey, intervening as needed to address any challenges or obstacles.
• Assist learners in achieving Functional Skills level 2 in English and mathematics if they do not already possess these qualifications.
• Maintain strong relationships within the team, as well as with clients, including managers and learners.

Experience and Skills:

• Hold a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET, DET, or equivalent.
• Hold an assessors award such as A1, CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent (desired).
• Knowledge of Ofsted expectations and standards.
• Hold a Level 5 or higher qualification in Leadership and Management, or possess managerial experience in a residential home setting.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at level C or level 2 functional skills.
• Occupational competence in a residential childcare setting.
