The School and Role

ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated Classroom Supervisor to work with our client schools in Alvechurch and surrounding areas. As a Classroom Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment, supporting both students and teachers in their educational journey. The schools we work with are friendly and welcoming. This is a great opportunity which may lead to a long-term role at a school as they often welcome back successful candidates. You will be working within a strong community and be able to contribute to academic success across your local area!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lessons and ensure adherence to classroom rules and regulations.
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and maintaining classroom discipline.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by teaching staff.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students feel motivated to learn and participate.
• Manage classroom resources and equipment, ensuring they are utilized effectively.

Requirements

The successful Classroom Supervisor will have;

• Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying classroom environments and tasks.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
