We are excited to be recruiting a Level 5 Healthcare Development Coach on a full time position based in North West England covering areas such as Blackburn, Lancashire and Burnley. Our client is an award-winning training provider that focuses on providing the best learning experiences for the apprenticeships, with a Grade 2 Ofsted report they are looking to expand their team of professionals.
They are a learner centric provider, therefore want a learner who is passionate and dedicated in bringing out the best in individuals to achieve their goals.
This role in particular is focused on delivering their Level 5 Apprenticeship in Healthcare, therefore occupational in the care adult care sector in a managerial level is required to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly teaching and learning sessions, either in person or through suitable online systems and software.
- Manage a caseload of up to 50 learners, ensure they are meeting deadlines, adding their off the job training, completing assignments and being observed monthly.
- Perform face-to-face visits when required to complete observations.
- Manage learners to assist them in achieving their qualification, encompassing all aspects of knowledge, skills, behaviors, and any supplementary requisites
- Identify and provide assistance to learners with additional learning needs.
- Regularly evaluate their work and provide constructive feedback, including Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar (SPAG), and update the E-Portfolio system (Smart Assessor).
- Support with the delivery of functional skills.
- Experience delivering a Level 5 Healthcare apprenticeships
- Hold a Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent
- Occupational competence working in a senior role within the care sector.
- Possess an Assessor Qualification like D32/D33, A1, or CAVA or hold a PTLLS/AET or a comparable teaching qualification
- Have completed Math and English GCSE or equivalent qualifications and be willing to undertake reformed Functional Skills Level 2
- Knowledge of ESFA funding regulations pertaining to apprenticeships
