Applications are invited from well-qualified and passionate Geography Teachers who want the opportunity to work as a Second in Department and teach in this thriving school community. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated member of staff who can demonstrate equal passion for the subject and working with young students.  

The successful candidate will have a clear track record of delivering an excellent standard of education to their pupils that inspires them to give their best and facilitates them achieving outstanding results. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Department in ensuring the standard of Geography provision afforded to pupils across the school is of the highest possible standard and that the pupils have a range of exciting and enriching Geography related extra-curricular opportunities to access.  

The successful candidate will be expected to teach across at least two key stages and there will be an opportunity to teach aspects of the A Level course should the successful candidate be interested in doing so (there is no requirement for the successful candidate to have experience of, or an interest in, teaching A Level). 

The exact responsibilities of the successful candidate will be carefully tailored to match their skills, interests and the needs of the department.

We would welcome applications from Teachers of Geography who are looking to take on departmental leadership responsibilities for the first time, or current leadership holders who are looking for a new challenge. The post will be an excellent platform for those teachers aspiring to be a Head of Geography in the future.
