English Teacher required ASAP or, from September 2024(Ealing, Full-time)
The School:
An Independent School is a specialist day school. It caters for pupils and sixth-form students with a wide range of needs, including challenging behaviours, mental health needs and social and emotional difficulties. Some pupils have a specific learning difficulty or autism spectrum disorder. All pupils have an education, health and care plans and the school uses two sites approximately half a mile apart.
Responsibilities:
- To Teach English up to KS5.
- To manage and reinforce positive behaviour.
- To be responsible for planning and deliving English lessons to small classes of pupils.
- Differntiate lessons according to pupil's individual needs.
Prospective candidates:
- A DBS in date within the last 3 years or, be willing to apply for a new DBS.
- Appropriate RTW status for full-time work in the UK.
- QTS, Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience working within a classroom setting or similar.
- Previous SEN experience(SpLD, SEMH and ASC).
- NQT’s are welcome to apply.
