SEND Teacher

Full time – Special School – Leeds

We are currently working alongside a Special school who is looking for a passionate qualified teacher to work with pupils with SEND. If you are Hardworking, resilient, prepared to give 100% and love a challenge then apply! The school is a through school with two sites Primary and secondary. Children attending this school have ASD, ASC and complex needs. The role is to start September long term with an opportunity to apply for a permanent role.

Job spec & Description:

• Must hold qualified teacher status, ECTs are also suitable
• Confident in working with students with ASD, ASC and similar behaviours.
• Design & implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs of students with ASC, ASD and complex needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to promote growth, learning and social emotional development.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability and collaborative mindset.
• Cheerful, calm demeanour, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
