Cover Supervisor – UES1

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Job Type: Full-time or part-time available

Start Date: ASAP/September

Salary in line with experience: £85 - £130 per day!

About Us:

We are a dynamic and inclusive secondary school committed to providing high-quality education for our students. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team and provide effective cover supervision across a range of subjects and year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the pre-set work provided.

· Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment conducive to student engagement and achievement.

· Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities across various subjects and year groups, following the school's curriculum and learning objectives.

· Support students with their learning, providing assistance and guidance as needed, and responding to any queries or concerns they may have.

· Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure continuity of learning and effective communication regarding student progress and behaviour.

Qualifications and Experience:

· A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.

· Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting would be advantageous.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.

· Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain discipline and control in a classroom environment.

· Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups as required.
