Lower KS2 Teacher needed in Kirkby-in-Ashfield

Academics are working closely with primary schools based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield who require a Lower KS2 Teacher to support them across sites with cover requirements.

What would the role involve?

• Supporting primary schools across Kirkby-in-Ashfield with sickness, PPA and training cover
• Delivering planned lessons
• Ensuring pupils stay on task and achieve their best in their class teacher's absence
• Working between 8.30am and 16:00pm
• Providing hand-over notes for the Class Teacher
• Adhering to school policies
• Ensuring safeguarding
• Creating a happy and inclusive environment for children to learn and thrive

What do you need to be a Lower KS2 Teacher with Academics?

• A Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) / Teacher Reference Number
• Experience teaching children within KS2
• Have or be willing to process an enhanced DBS certificate
• Teaching references (ideally covering the last 24 months)
