Are you a student who has just graduated and are looking for the opportunity for a supportive staff team to guide you in your career development. We work with fantastic schools in the West Yorkshire area who will go above and beyond to provide that support. Our schools look for an individual who is team spirited, has some relevant experience/knowledge of SEN schools and is passionate about education so they can excel in their role.

What does the job role involve?

  • Working with the class teacher and supervise class activities
  • Supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
  • Keep records up to date and ensure staff and parents are updated on pupils’ progression
  • Create positive relationships with staff members and pupils
  • Support 1:1 or in small group interventions

Essential requirements and qualifications:

  • High literacy skills and experience of supporting children’s learning
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • First Aid Qualification is desirable
  • Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check
  • Overseas criminal clearance and Right to Work in the UK
  • Willing to travel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
