Speech and Language Therapist - Empower Communication in Brentwood

Location: Brentwood

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year

Join our dedicated team in Brentwood as a Speech and Language Therapist and play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of young individuals. Your expertise will help unlock the world of communication for students, fostering confidence and academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication problems.
  • Develop tailored therapy plans as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on communication strategies.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting approaches as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Experience working with children and young adults in an educational setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A compassionate approach and a commitment to inclusive education.
