The School and Role

This ‘Good’ primary school, based in Sunderland are looking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to work in a Key Stage 1 class on a full time basis. This will be a role where the KS1 Teaching Assistant will be providing general classroom support and working alongside children with lower attainment to help them catch up and boost their progress. This school believes that their school community provides the highest quality care and education for all pupils.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with low attainment
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
