Special Needs Teaching Assistant 

Location: Leicester City Centre
Salary: £83 - £85 per day

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support students in Leicester City Centre. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students with special educational needs and make a positive impact on their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with special needs, including assisting with activities and personal care.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement individualized education plans.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team as necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with special needs is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student development.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service is required.
