Tara professional recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a popular Secondary School in Penkridge to join in September 2024. We are seeking to appoint someone with excellent subject knowledge.
Working with the Head of Art and Design and technology curriculum, Food technology starts in year 9 and completes the Key Stage 3 curriculum. This covers food safety, nutrition and the science, to gain an understanding for their GCSE in food preparation and nutrition at KS4.
The Successful candidate will:
- Have QTS or experience teaching Food Technology to secondary level
- Be able to inspire, enthuse and motivate students to ensure that they achieve their full potential.
- Be a passionate teacher who contributes effectively to whole school improvement.
- Be able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school.
- Be flexible and a good team player.
- Duration – fulltime.
- Start date – September 2024.
- Wage - £153.85 to £211.96 per day.
