Midday Meal Supervisor - 11:45am- 13:35pm - Monday to Friday

We are seeking an enthusiastic, imaginative and hardworking midday meals supervisor who will support us in our mission to make lunchtimes even more exciting at our lovely SEND schools. They will be responsible for supervising children in the dining hall, but also in facilitating play and ensuring that children gain a rich and stimulating experience during their lunchtimes. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service will be required before you begin. This is an ASAP starting role

The School:

This lovely SEN school is based in Southwark, SE23.

They are an interactive, learning by play school which encourage pupils to be individuals and embraces diversity. The pupils have a range of Autism from more sensory and more complex learning difficulties, for instance those who are non-verbal and use Makaton (which you will receive free training in every Wednesday!) through to more able Autistic pupils, who can connect learning through visual stimulation and clear communication. They are an absolute pleasure to work with and be around and the school if full of happy faces, which says a lot for the working environment.

Requirements:

• must have experience working with SEND children
• Have a valid DBS
• able to commit 5 days a week, this is an ongoing contract until the end of this academic year
• Live near Southwark, South East London area
