Zenith Advisory Partners are supporting a well established college in North Manchester in their search for their new qualified Head of Finance.
In this newly created role and reporting into the Group CFO, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the education finance team, along with producing the Monthly Management Accounts, supporting with the annual budget process, preparing financial statements and financial reporting.

You will be qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), have previous experience of managing a team along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous experience within education/ public sector is desirable but not essential.

The day to day duties of the Head of Finance will be varied and will include:
- Overseeing a finance team of 8
- Monthly and Annual management accounts
- Preparation of annual financial statements and year end reporting pack to the Executive Director of Finance, parent company, Regulatory Auditor, bank and funders
- Support the annual budget process, ongoing monitoring of income and expenditure against budget including reporting of variance analyses
- Prepare annual financial statements and audit file for College - and liaise with Regulatory auditor and Parent Company
