Hours: 8:00 -4:30pm

Salary: £150- £200 per day

We are seeking for amazing, enthusiastic key stage 1 teachers to join the school community!

A Ofsted rated ‘good’ primary school in Sunderland  are seeking a warm and friendly primary school teacher. The primary school  who values their children with a friendly and supportive staff. The headteacher is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who is excited to try new learning tools for e.g. new  phonics program. This role is  an immediate start, full time Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am – 4:30pm.

KS1 Teacher Role

• Teach all areas of the primary curriculum.
• Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils.
• Model good teaching practice to engage and inspire students of all abilities both in and out of lessons.
• Have excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills.
• Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
• Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care

The ideal candidate will:

•  Be available for work Monday to Friday

•  Hold a degree and QTS

•  Have experience as a KS1 teacher (desirable not essential)

•  ECT’s are welcome to apply

•  Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring

•  An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)

•  A full checkable work history
