Hours - 8am – 3.30PM full-time

About the School: 

Supply Desk are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Horley who wish to appoint a committed and ambitious Science Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science as a part of their excellent team. This role is full time and temporary with a view for the right candidate to turn permanent. The school is rated “good” by Ofsted.

About the role:

The role will be full time Teaching of Science in Key Stage 3 and 4. The role will be teaching all elements of Science with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships.

The ideal candidate will:

• Biology specialism (preferred)
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of raising attainment
• Be confident and adaptable to different environments
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be able to deliver science in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
