Qualified Nursery Assistant

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to support early years children in an incredible Flying Start nursery located in the Pontypridd area.

To be accepted for this role you would need to hold a childcare qualification level 2 and above.

This person must be committed to providing a high quality and safe environment which encourages the children to develop through play and exploration.

What we expect:

•     Hold a relevant qualification e.g. Level 2 – 3 children’s care, play, learning and development (CCLD), Early years qualification.
•     Have experience and the knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
•     Prior experience working with children, preferably in a nursery setting.
•     Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential.

•     Excellent communication skills.
•     Someone who is not afraid to get stuck in and help engage the children with their development.
