The School and Role

We are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in Consett. Working as part of an established team, the desired Key Stage 2 Teacher will be teaching Year 5, a class of around 27 children. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability.  The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.

Requirements

The desired Key Stage 2 Teacher will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
• QTS within the UK
