The school is interested in appointing a Food and Nutrition teacher to join a thriving and dynamic department in September 2024

The ideal Food and Nutrition teacher would be joining a small but well-resourced department and be required to deliver Food and Nutrition teacher lessons to GCSE.

Students and teachers are supported, various activities are run throughout the year to engage and incorporate Food and Nutrition across the curriculum, assessment sheets are used to record the level of achievement and monitor progress and targets are set.

This mixed school is located in a leafy part of the UK, slightly north of London and in the county of Hertfordshire where the rental cost of a 1 bedroom property is reasonable, there are also opportunities to rent a room with other teachers from this and local schools.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND FOOD AND NUTRITION TEACHER CONTRACT:

* Food and Nutrition teacher taught at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4

THE RIGHT FOOD AND NUTRITION TEACHER WILL BE:
* Hold a BA and PGCE in Food and Nutrition teacher
* Confident with teaching GCSE Food and Nutrition teacher
* Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

THE SUCCESSFUL FOOD AND NUTRITION TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
*Exceptional degree relating to food and nutrition
*Teaching qualification
*Eligibility to work in the UK
*Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
*A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
*Salary paid to scale - £190 - £235 per day Outer London pay
