English Cover Teacher 

Location: Stockport
Salary: Pro-rata £30,000 - £41,333 per annum
Start Date: Immediate
Working Days: 3 days per week

GSL Education is seeking a committed English Cover Teacher for a part-time role in Stockport. This position is ideal for a professional looking to balance teaching with other commitments, providing high-quality education and ensuring continuity in students' learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned English lessons effectively, maintaining academic progress in the teacher's absence.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students and groups.
• Maintain a positive learning environment with strong classroom management skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in English.
• Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level, with up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to engage and inspire students, promoting a love for English literature and language.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying classroom settings and teaching demands.
