Salary: £11.85 - £13.43 per hour

As a Disability Support Worker in a Poole-based school, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and assistance to students with disabilities. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the well-being and independence of those in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with students with disabilities to provide tailored support in daily activities of school.
• Implement individualised care plans, lesson plan and ensure the well-being and safety of those under your care.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful environment that promotes independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including class teacher and staffs and, to ensure holistic support.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of students' progress and activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker or similar role is advantageous.
• Understanding of various disabilities and effective support strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and patience in providing support to students with diverse needs.
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of those with disabilities.
