DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Design technology Teacher to join an Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school. There is sixth form and the students are uniform wearing.

The school is based in Enfield, North London, which is an Outer London school. There is parking onsite.

This Design Technology teaching position starts on the September 2024 and is a full-time teaching position. The dept aim to meet the demands of the National Curriculum for Design & Technology. The school is always seeking teachers who wish to continue to grow and develop.

THE DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER TEACHING JOB:

• Full-time Design technology teaching job
• Ideally starting September 2024
• Teaching Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 and possibly key stage 5
• Design Technology is taught following AQA
• This is a mainstream, Ofsted Outstanding secondary school
• The Design technology department is well resourced
• Full time (5 days a week) teaching position including planning and marking.
• Parking is available on site and the school is well served by public transport

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER WILL BE

• Qualified Design technology teacher - UK or Overseas Design technology teacher
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent.
• Someone who can manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons in line with the needs of the students
• You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
• Be a team player

CONTRACT DETAILS FOR THE DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER POSITION:

• Location - Enfield
• Position - Full Time Design technology Teacher
• Type of work -Design technology teaching in a secondary school
• Start date - September 2024
• Contract type - temporary with a view to becoming permanent after 12 weeks
• Full time/part time - Full time 5 days
• Minimum rate of pay - £177-262 per day dependant on your pay scale
