Science Teacher (Qualified/Unqualified)

Dunbar Education, on behalf of our client, is currently seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join their team immediately. We are also considering applications from unqualified candidates with relevant UK experience. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the education of students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in all three major sciences.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and delivers engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Cultivates a stimulating learning environment to promote student engagement and enthusiasm for science.
• Assesses and monitors student progress, providing tailored feedback to support their academic development.
• Collaborates with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches and educational resources.
• Contributes to extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience teaching science at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
