Position: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team immediately until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will provide invaluable support within our educational setting, working with learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Details:

• Position: SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• Location: [Insert College/Institution Name]
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 3:30 pm
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Duration: Until the end of the academic year

Responsibilities:

• Providing support to SEND learners in their educational activities and personal development.
• Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and supporting differentiated learning.
• Collaborating with the SENDCO and teaching staff to create inclusive learning environments.
• Offering personalized care and guidance to meet the diverse needs of SEND learners.

Requirements:

• Experience working within an educational setting, preferably with SEND learners.
• A passion for supporting the educational and personal growth of SEND students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support is desirable but not essential.
