Moxi Recruitment are thrilled to partner with a primary school in Wallasey to recruit for a Learning Mentor to support a pupil on a one to one basis.

You will have a passion for working with children, with strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively support children in a classroom setting.

the working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday, working in the afternoons only, between 12 - 15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support to pupils, assisting with academic tasks and understanding of subject matter.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of the pupil
• Working with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Moxi Recruitment are proud to be able to support the school with providing appropriate training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
• Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of students.
