Randstad Education Liverpool is searching for a Maths Teacher for a school situated in the Liverpool area for a long-term position.

Responsibilities:

  • Must deliver Maths lessons up to KS4 GCSE
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver suitable lessons within the specialist subject area, ensuring accessibility for all students
  • Provide support to colleagues within the department as needed
  • Organize the classroom to establish a positive teaching environment, collaborating with relevant teaching assistants and support staff to build effective relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Uphold discipline using various classroom management techniques in alignment with the school's behavior management policy
  • Monitor pupil progress and maintain records on their development
  • Attend meetings, parent's evenings, and in-service training days as required by the school, contributing to all areas to the best of your ability

Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification with or leading to UK Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs and overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply) and a relevant degree.
  • Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
  • Demonstrate the motivation to achieve and add value to a school
  • Possess proven classroom management skills
